At Fortress Solutions Group, I design and implement secure, automation-first infrastructure for small and medium-sized businesses, focusing on compliance, cybersecurity, and cloud resilience. My work integrates governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) principles with modern DevOps practices to strengthen client defenses across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Key responsibilities include architecting and securing infrastructures across Azure, AWS, GCP, and IBM Cloud (including IBM Kubernetes Service), developing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab CI/CD, and implementing governance frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001 through compliance-as-code automation. Software Engineer III - Cloud Platform – Ultimate Software (over 1 year)
Working as a Software Engineer III for Cloud PaaS at Ultimate Software was an incredibly lucky opportunity for me. Ultimate Software is consistently ranked among the top three companies to work for in the USA, and I was thrilled to be a part of their team.
During my time at Ultimate Software, I had the chance to put into action many of the cloud skills and automation tricks I had learned in my previous jobs. I participated in building private infrastructure to support application development, and I was proud to contribute to a company that was at the forefront of cloud technology.
Even though I worked remotely for most of my time at Ultimate Software, I always enjoyed traveling to their beautiful campus in South Florida. The atmosphere and energy at the company were truly infectious, and I felt incredibly fortunate to be a part of such an innovative and forward-thinking team.

Cloud Engineering – Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. (over 2 years)
At Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., I passionately embraced my role as a DevOps Engineer, leveraging my love for learning new technologies and innovative approaches to overcome challenges. As a consistent and detail-oriented professional, I focused on gathering input from various sources to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
During my tenure at the company, I was instrumental in designing and deploying multiple applications using nearly the entire AWS stack, including EC2, Route53, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and IAM. I prioritized high-availability, fault tolerance, and auto-scaling to deliver robust and efficient solutions. Utilizing Ansible, I automated application deployment and provisioning across different environments, ensuring seamless integration and adaptability.
I played an active role in the release cycle of our products across various stages, such as Development, QA, and Production. I also implemented platform monitoring for Java applications and RDS databases using New Relic, and integrated Loggly for system-wide visibility and alerting. As a part of my continuous improvement efforts, I built a Continuous Delivery pipeline with Jenkins, GitHub, and AWS, allowing for automatic image building with each new GitHub branch.
Managing AWS EC2 instances through Spot/AutoScaling, Elastic Load Balancing, and S3/Glacier, I maintained high standards and security for our development and production environments. During a brief remote engagement with the newly split up HPE, I had the opportunity to work on a 100% Cloud Project, utilizing both Azure and AWS platforms. The project involved cloud-hosted IBM InfoSphere Information Governance as a service, and I was responsible for ensuring that the deployment and implementation of the service were seamless and effective.
This engagement gave me valuable experience working with cutting-edge cloud technologies and working remotely with a team. While it was a brief engagement, it reinforced my passion for working with cloud technology and helped prepare me for future engagements in this field.

During my time at the CNN center in their A.T.O.M. division, I had the exciting opportunity to work on delivering live video content to the web from all of Turner’s properties, including CNN, HLN, TBS, TNT, Cartoon Network, and particularly sports with NBA, NCAA, and the PGA. My role in the team was focused on the latest technology in video encoding and digital media, ensuring the delivery of high-quality content to the viewer.
While this experience was vastly different from my time as a world nomad traveler at IDHASOFT, it was equally thrilling. The fast-paced environment of digital media for sports and popular entertainment felt like a reboot, and I was excited to dive headfirst into the newest tech and contribute my skills to the team.

As an Infrastructure Architect and IT Director at IDHASOFT for over six years, I had the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals across multiple locations worldwide. My responsibilities included managing complex IT systems and networks, building scalable cloud solutions, and developing disaster recovery plans.
One of the most memorable experiences during my time at IDHASOFT was the chance to work in India, where I developed a deep appreciation for the culture and people. As a world nomad traveler, I had the opportunity to move from location to location, fixing and mending companies and software systems across the globe. However, my time in India was particularly special, as I immersed myself in the culture and learned from the Indian people.
The experience not only allowed me to gain diverse cultural experiences but also to adapt quickly to new environments and technologies. I am proud of my work at IDHASOFT and the contributions I made to the organization. Although I have since moved on, I will always cherish the memories and lessons learned during my travels and work in India.
